Susan Atkeisson is the President of Heartland Consulting Group and brings over 30 years of expertise in retirement plan administration. Since founding Heartland in 1999, she has grown it into a nationally recognized firm serving corporate clients across 36 states. A Kansas State University graduate and Wharton-certified CEBS professional, Susan pairs her business success with passions for travel, family, and cooking—most notably her signature homemade gnocchi.

Angela LaRocca is an Enrolled Retirement Plan Agent (ERPA) with 25 years of experience in retirement plan administration. A lifelong learner, she actively pursues continuing education in order to stay current with legislation and other developments and trends affecting plan management.

Leann Saffell joined Heartland Consulting Group over 24 years ago as a consultant and has been a valuable team member ever since. A graduate of the University of Missouri, Leann brings deep industry knowledge and dedication to every client she serves. Outside of work, she’s a proud Kansas City native who loves cheering on the Chiefs and enjoying all things KC.
